But, yea, this is a fun little project.
Matt - it was your comment that made me realise that I may be taking it a little too easy. The vertical numbers look better than the actual benefits I'm getting so I think I want to step it up a bit, so thanks for checking me!
Also, my Maradonna dream is the one where he takes an extra touch to set up with his left, because that's what he always did, and I come out of no where with a 2 foot tackle, clean his clock, get up with the ball and ping a 50 yarder to split the last 2 defenders as lightning fast Matt comes in from the wing, brings the ball down at full stride, 2 touches later he buries into the back of the net!Rickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10735344836109298541noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2531221886759018253.post-53409615561982785162010-07-28T17:07:17.828-04:002010-07-28T17:07:17.828-04:00I'm surprised you haven't been efforting a...I'm surprised you haven't been efforting a little more. That's why I asked you if on some days you feel beat.

GZ's right, you're still developing a base, so training it is. What makes me know I'm getting stronger is I'm finding that gear where I can run anything. It may be super slow, but I'm running.

Pretend Maradona is up ahead of you on the hill. Get that (fired) SOB!Matthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06680473738547005786noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2531221886759018253.post-72988454745191344102010-07-28T15:01:21.060-04:002010-07-28T15:01:21.060-04:00Yeah - but are you training for anything specific?...Yeah - but are you training for anything specific? If the answer is no, then I think having those days in between where it is more "loose" are no big deal. Simply, you are maintaining the habit of moving, climbing, physical activity. That is just fine base - so that when you then do decide to gear into something - BANG. You can rock.GZhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12623054918799881730noreply@blogger.com
