7.5 miles - about an hour.
I'm in the market for some compression shorts. I need something that's going to keep me warm above the knees and keep chaffing to a minimum. Right now I've had some chaffing issues on some long runs due to clothes being wet and not drying. As long as shirt/shorts are dry, there's no problems, but the Mt. Mitchell Challenge in Feb. can have some very cold/wet weather like last year.
Whoa. Where's that run? On your upcoming course?
ReplyDeleteI like these ... http://www.brooksrunning.com/product/210038/ID%20Elite%20Sprinter
That's just before the summit on the MMC course last year. I'm hoping for a dry day this year.
ReplyDeleteThat doesn't look like a whole lotta fun, but that's what you get for racing up mountains in February.
ReplyDeleteI bought a pair of no-name (Layer 8) knee-length compression shorts from TJ Max the other day for $8, but I'm cheap. Before that, I had a pair of speedo compressions that I inherited from my wife.
Can't go wrong with an $8 pair. I'll check those out first and if that's all I need I'm all set - thanks for the tip.
ReplyDeleteHow are the buttons holding up on your Axis?
Rick - as before. See comment on my blog. Thanks to your dog for the tip on (not) drinking fat! Must have seemed like a good idea at the time.
