"Begin the day with a friendly voice, a companion unobtrusive plays that song that's so elusive and the magic music makes your morning mood."
I can't think of a better way to start the day than hammering out some intervals!
Ran 5 miles flat yesterday, the hip is at it's worse on the flats, and had very little pain, it never got worse, just stayed the same.
Then, this morning, did 1 song hard, 1 song easy x 4 this morning at 12% grade.

Awesome. Songervals are the best. I don't run with music anymore but I ride with music still and coincidentally did almost the same workout on the bike yesterday. I have a lot of Tool on my i-pod and a few songs are over 10:00 long. Glad you're feeling good.
ReplyDeleteRUSH!
ReplyDeleteOh it is so ON.
For my most intense Songervals I listen to the live versions of Helter Skelter and Dear Prudence by Siouxsie and the Banchees. Helter Skeler even seems to follow the pattern of a hard interval.
ReplyDeleteOh yea baby, it is so freakin' on!
Agree. Music rocks on the run. Unfortunately, because of Lucho's "tutelage," I haven't done an interval in a looooong time :-)
